I have Hope back!
Thanks to the help from friends (most who I met in online fandoms!) and my brothers, I was able to get immediate repairs done on my car.
However, it still needs the timing cover replaced at some point this summer, and that will cost almost $800. So, I’m going to keep this fundraiser going and share often, and please know that any and all money donated will go directly to saving for the repair.

So, my brother and I had to borrow money from our other 3 siblings for this move. First month's rent, deposit for us and for the animals, movers, etc. We promised to pay them back when we got the money for the house. Well, because of the situation with the mortgage company, and because everyone is always trying to make money off5 everyone else in this stupid country, we are getting A LOT less than what we had been told we would get. My oldest sister (yes, THAT one) has already said she doesn't want to be paid back; 'consider it a housewarming present.' Or maybe she's finally feeling some guilt, because it was her that got us here? I don't know. Anyway, that will help. As long as we have enough for next month's rent from it.
I'm thinking of putting an add on our local Next Door for pet sitting. Limited. I do not want to overextend myself. I'm already stressed and constantly exhausted, but a little extra money would really help, especially if my brother doesn't find anything he can do. This would have been so much better (and cheaper) if I had been able to buy a mobile home, but alas. Our stupid capitalist country and the rich controlling the poor by using credit scores to keep us in our place.
On a brighter note, I think I can combine the prompts for the next July challenge with the next OTP challenge and write something to post Saturday for both! I knew I said I wasn't going to write smut for my OTP, but the idea brewing in my head is perfect for both, so it's gonna happen, I guess.
